Nundah Village Dental was privileged recently to be able to helping a magnificent person in our community and give charity to someone who has already given so much to others. Her name is Olive Volavola and she is the person who started Compassion 4 Community a few years ago. Olive has the most amazing heart for our community and for people who are struggling and doing it tough.
She started Compassion 4 Community not long before Covid 19 hit our city and during that time her team and her fed way over a 1000 people per week and delivered the meals out to the community as all in-house dining was closed.
What many would not have known about Olive as the face and the person behind Compassion 4 Community, was that because of a broken front tooth she struggled with embarrassment, and wouldn’t smile or even talk too much. With the amazing help and support from Rod Litzow from Dentures at Clayfield, we were delighted to arrange for Olive to have a new smile makeover to bring a smile back to someone that has made so many others smile. A picture says a thousand words and the after photo of Olive’s smile says it all.
